I know I need a slim fan but how slim is slim? just want to have everything right before i start

 

What fan are you talking about? The radiator fan?

Actually you can use the stock fan , but you may have to cut back on the outside of the schroud or cover . I simply went down to my local parts store and purchased like a 12" slim fan for better cooling and room. I've had no problems in almost 2 years .

 

I used a dual rail radiator and a FAL fan and it fit like a glove. The temp never even hit the hal f way mark.
