i'm not real familiar with the gsr plate, but i see no reason why you couldn't have a dual stage setup with a single plate. just a little plumbing trickery and you'll be good to go
i mess w/nitrious alot.we have a car that i tuned for nitrious...that uses the plate system.we are spraying 300.we had the little super shot solinoids and they give out at about 160 hp.so now we have the pro race solinoids and @1200 bottle pressure it is something to see let me tell you.
your idea could work, but i think only if they were off set from one another,so as soon as it came out of the plate the vacum in the manifold would do it's thing.but as far as being stacked on top of one another, they would be fighting to get around one another.

you were running 300 on one plate?.... you think if i talked to NOS about it they could make me a plate with it offset

very seriously doubt it.you would be better off buying the bars from and nos and the fittings and have a machine shop off set them and then put them in.i like your idea.let me know how it turns out.

i was thinking that they way the plate sprays is inward way what would really happen if it sprayed on the bars of the other plate? really think it would make that much of a differnce i dont see it leaning out or anything ... its still getting the fuel for it ... i cant really see it interfering with the other plate... i might just try it and see what happens
oh and another thing... what do you think of doing a B20 block with pistons and rods with a stock gsr head and doing like 100 shot out the whole and 150 or 175 shot on top of that in 3rd ??

It should actually work pretty well. Plate stacking is fairly common in my realm (that is how the crossbar design came around). Stacked carburetor plates have been used for a number of years. From what I have seen as far as price is concerned, you can step into a direct port (nozzle) system for relatively the same price though. I should have something cool instore for you GSR guys in the near future....
well your right in a way,but in a way your not.you probably will have a slight hesitation.that could mean a loss in a race.
hell we spray 300 out of the hole @1200 bottle pressure.and this is on a b20 vtec "gsr head" just has ferrea s/s valves.the block has rods and pistons and a welded in block guard.

it is a ek hatch back w/full int. off the trailer it ran 8 flat......but the dam STOCK CLUTCH started slipping.........after that the clucth was on it's way out.we are putting a 6 puck unsprung act...she should probably et around mid 7's.

well with a clutch slipping your not going any where.and yes the car will be some where around mid to lo 7's...full int and not stripped like most...and 8 flat is not shabby at all.......this is in an ek hatch.
people saying they are running 7's w/a 75 shot is flat out dam lying...it takes more than you think to get to the 7's.
