Default VAFC fuel settings for fuel right before VTEC engages.

Would you want to dump a little extra fuel before VTEC, or you want to lean it out? Anyone been out on a dyno enough to know/notice what seems to work best?

go to the dyno and find out! Look at your a/f graph, then see what you need.. every motor is different

Kinda figured that's what you would say.

But in general, I'm curious to find out what everyone elses settings are. I have an Innovative motorsports wideband unit installed and the last time it was at the dyno, the engine was set rich right before VTEC kicked in.

I'm curious to find out what other Honda engines in general like to see for fuel before VTEC. And if you're wondering what I have:

JDM H22A
Ported & polished head
Crower Stage 2 with all valve-train components, including swirl polished valves
STR cams gears (stock settings)
AN-R Header, 2 1/2" all the way back w/hi-flow cat-convertor
Cold air intake
VAFC

lean out, quite a bit. Flow gets disrputed at vtec and if you keep pumping fuel, it goes by a point more rich...

I think it will also depends on the ecu. Is it a stock, rechipped, Hondata, etc.

I have mine leaned out more from around Vtec point on to 9K. This is due to my ecu dumping alot of fuel up top.
