my rear defroster on my 91 teggy has ben actin up every since i bought and i have tried everything to fix it that i kno of please help me!!! i have replaced the switch checked grounds and all connections and they all seem fine. It just comes on and off when ever it wants and i cant control it. It there a relay under the dash somewhere that i dont kno about?? or something simple PlEASE HELP ITS SO ANNOYING

check that out. essentially the ICU for the defroster could be acting up. but check out that thread see if it helps. if not when you go to G2IC do a search.

 

ya could be that...lol, mine was bad and my wipers wouldnt work on intermitten, my car would beep, rear defroster would turn on the go off and not work for hours...so i replace my icu . i also found out via the helms manual that it ties into some of you warning lights in your dash....oil light

 

my intermitten doesnt work either i didnt kno that was connected but i dont have the problem with th oil light. Ill check it out

thanks guys!!! i went to the junkyard this morning pulled an icu out of a 91 teggy and put it in mine and she works perfectly. 15 dollar fix. i wish i would have asked 5 months ago
