ok in some magazines and even some cars here ive seen have hoods that are lifted up in the back(by the windsheild). Ive heard this is done with washer but thats sounds kinda ghetto...whats the best way to get you hood like this?

or making a custom plate to go underneat the hinge, to be used as a washer.

 

so between the hinge and the hood you would just use a thick washer and maybe long screws?..Sounds like a cheap mod to do

 

I used skateboard bushings and longer bolts

oh yeah.. your hood is nasty(good) lookin!
