DC 4-1 2.5" collector OR Comptech 4-2-1?
this is on my b16a2... only have bolt on's and may possibly be a ls/vtec soon.. WHich header would you recommend and why?
DC 4-1 header with 2.5" collector and 2.5" exhaust
or
Comptech 4-2-1 with 2.25" collecotr and 2.25" exhaust
DC 4-1 header with 2.5" collector and 2.5" exhaust
or
Comptech 4-2-1 with 2.25" collecotr and 2.25" exhaust
On a relatively mild setup, both will likely perform similarly, and of course the Comptech will have superior ground clearance. On a more heavily modified motor, the DC's larger collector will give it the edge. And just as an FYI, the Comptech's collector is 2" OD, not 2.25".
DC jdm 4-1 is the best bang for buck header . if u wanna spend a little more like $200 something like that i think and only get like 2,3 more hp then get the comptech. if your going to put the 200 and u should really save and get a real header. then u can put it on your ls\vtec and u never have to think about headers again thats my 2cent

i have the comptech now on the car along with an apex ws exhaust... i want to change the exhaust and i was thinking of going with the 4-1 also. i have someone who wants to trade me the 4-1 and the exhaust system for my set up..
