Default hooking up Vtec in Mini-Me setup

So the car I am bought is a Mini-Me setup but the vtec isn't hooked up yet. I don't want to hook it up to a switch because thats pretty retarded. What would be a good way to do it.

I can get the computer from an SI not a problem there is a guy in my town selling one.

You can convert to OBD-1 and call it a day, you can chip a OBD-0 B16A computer with proper maps, or you can chip a PM6 and run VTEC activation off of the AC pin on the computer (TurboEdit feature)

All I know right now is that the computer has been changed to have no redline.
