Is an auto half-shaft same as a manual one?
no, the intermediate shaft is not the same on an auto and a MT 94-01 integra. I found this out when doing an automatic Bseries swap into my brother's 93 civic a few yrs ago.
Go to http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org and check it out. the MT and AT intermediate shafts have different part numbers.

But did you try it? Every post I have seen on here has said that all B-series axles are the same. Not trying to argue, but that's what I've heard and I want to get him the right info.

That's true, but the intermediate shaft is not an axle.

They are not the same.. The bracket on the auto int. shaft positions itself further away from the block than the manual int. shaft and will not bolt up. I know from experience.

wait, so are the bolt holes in different spots? Because i'm picking up an auto b18b. Would I just have to get a manual int. shaft or is there something else?
Sorry, I know it might seem obvious to get a manual one, but your reply kind of made it seem like the bolt holes would be in different spots.

Sorry, I was thinking of it as one a whole unit. As far as the intermediate shaft then, I wouldn't know. Sorry.
