92 hatch w/ b18b. I've got questions
I've come across a great deal. A clean, straight 92 hatch w/ a low mileage b18b swaped in. Only thing is it's got an auto tranny, and the stock d15 ecu and such still.
My question is, what ECU could I buy and install to make it work? P75? Like what the b18b has got in the integra lower end models.
I'll also be swapping in my 5speed. I'm assuming I'll need a new mount or two?
Other than that. Will it be a pretty direct replacement for the trans, and ecu other than getting it all in and wired up, and bolted down?
Thanks for the help guys.

you will need to re-place the tranny mount that is welded to the frame and use a 5-speed one from a civic and i think the rear y bracket im not to sure
Alright.
Anyone w/ info on teh harness and ECU I'll need. I've got a 94 teg, but plan on keeping most of it intact, as it will now turn into my project car.
Looking for what I do about the d15 harness (i.e. wiring for the p75 5speed ecu, etc)
again, thanks for the help guys

Yeah, I don't think so.
You'll just need to use an LS ECU, If the motor is obd1 you'll need the obd1 ECU.

also, you only have to replace the upper tranny mount (hasport & jdmshit, both carry a auto - manual mount.), dont cut or weld, it looks sloppy. all the other mounts are fine. also make sure you add the clutch lines, pedal, resevoir, etc.

Theres more to it than that. A rear mount, a clutch kit, a flywheel, ecu, a shift fork, the whole shift linkage and shifter assembly, the slave cylinder, the hydrolic lines, the pedals from a manual civic, possibly the gauge cluster, the starter is different. I thnk you'll run into axle/ halfshaft problems. You would also need a few interior peices from a civic or integra. My advice, buy a donor car.
Parts Necessary for a Civic Auto to Manual Transmission Conversion:
-Manual Transmission
-Clutch/Pressure Plate/Throw Out Bearing (your average clutch kit will do the trick)
-Flywheel w/bolts
-B-Series Shift Linkage
-Shifter (civic, integra, or del sol stock shifter will work fine)
-Shift **** (see comment from above)
-Clutch Fluid Resevoir
-Clutch Master Cylinder (Civic, Integra, or Del Sol)
-Clutch Slave Cylinder (Civic Integra, or Cel Sol
-Clutch Hard Lines (Civic, Del Sol, or Intgra should all work, or custom bent or braided steel lines..)
-Clutch/Brake Pedal Assembly (gas pedal doesn't need to be changed)
-Auto-Manual Conversion Mount (jdmshit.com has it for $110 shipped)
-Manual p75 ECU
-Manual Throttle Cable (I am not sure if this is necessary.. anyone?)
-Lower Manual Transmission Mount (OEM)

With all of this, you can do your auto-manual swap easily. All you will have to do then is cut the center section of your car to let the shifter come through and move properly (see link above for visuals).

You sir, are wrong. If it is a 92-95 civic it will need either a conversion mount or a custom welded manual tranny chassis side mount. If it were a 96+ then you wouldn't have that issue.. please research before you reply.. Thanks

92-95 EG & Del Sol with a 94-2000 Integra LS B18 Engine.
Transmission: These Engines come with Hydraulic clutch transmissions including Japanese or American market Y21, Y80, S80, AND S4C. Japanese or American market S1, J1, A1, Y1 or YS1 cable clutch transmission with Hasport cable conversion kit part # M92-CC can be used.
Mounts: A combination of stock and integra mounts can be used if a hydraulic B- series tranny is used. on some 96 and up engines you may need to change the bracket under the timing belt and on the rear of the engine for ones of the appropriate year.
ECU: p75 from a 94-95 Integra
Electrical Differences: CX and VX need to convert to 4 wire o2 sensor. All models modify stock harness to fit.
Axles: 90-93 integra axles, 94-up integra axles, 94-97 Del Sol Vtec axles, or 99-00 Civic Si Axles. Note the intermediate shaft seal in the left side of transmission is different for 90-93 Integra Axles. Depending on Axle transmission Combo, It may have to be changed. Hasport Part#: EGBAXCMP
Shift Linkage: 94-up Integra linkage for Civics. 94-97 Del Sol Vtec linkage for Del Sol
Upper Radiator Hose: 94-Up Integra LS
Lower Radiator Hose: 94 Del Sol Vtec
Throttle Cable: 94 Integra LS
Clutch Hydraulics: Stock
Air Conditioning: 94-95 Del Sol Vtec A/C bracket
Special instructions: Using OBD II Ecu requires involved wiring modifications. Generally if the ECU you choose does not use the same plugs as the stock ECU, an Adapter harness will cut down on alot of potential problems
Special Considerations: Nice motor, Smog Legal, and excellent base for turbo car. Smog Legal in CA
