Default "Mystery Intake Manifold" - a two part series

bought an aftermarket IM today, auction said "Skunk 2 B18a", went to pick it up and guy said "I don't really remember what it is". Lame. He's got a 94 Integra RS. I've got a 91 Integra LS. I just stumbled on a pic of a Blox IM here - (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1318276 ), which looks exactly the same. Lemme know what you think. there is a number stamped on the top of the IM - 030826

For the 2nd part of the "Mystery Intake Manifold" series we'll be trying to figure out what to do with the EACV? Help? Hours of so far futile searching.

My friend just recently installed his Skunk2 manifold on his B18A1. He left that out on the new IM, and it runs fine.

Well, that's the "starting air valve" or "air boost valve". It's totally useless anyway...so I wouldn't worry about that.

as far as i know, the eacv is only needed on automatics. and for the manifold, it could be a skunk2. i've compared specs on both in the past, and blox im's have longer runners than the s2. those look pretty short.

Skunk2 manifolds do have numbers on them. You can even contact Skunk2 and give them this picture and they will be able to tell you if it is their's or not. There are quite a few of these posts trying to figure out what brand a manifold is. Contact various manufacturers with the pic and they will tell you whether it is theirs or not.
