Hell, my last daily driver didn't even have a dash. Unless any given part made some contribution to the vehicle's ability to accelerate/brake/handle, it was removed.

I second that. Don't want to stick your head out the window when its rainy and your breath constantly fogging up your window.

man when i get my car, the day i drive it home, almost everything is coming out. people say its rice, people say it unneed and useless but its all the person. personaly, my car is going to a be a daily driven track ***** so gutted would be my way to go, but if some one like comfort, that may not. i have driven two cars w/o ps, pw, pl, radios, ac, or even POWER for that fact for about a year so i know what im getting into but ill still love it. not to say i like my new ac, power everything, and 220 hp, but thats my rents. my own thoughs are only take out what you can put back and your fine.
edit: just in case you people say lose some body weight and youll go faster, im a nice rally driver weight of 137 and im trying to keep it that way

its not going to be worth it, not for a daily driver. Its gonna suck not having an a/c and getting hot during the summer, and if you get a flat, thats gonna suck even more.
the tiny amount of speed youll gain by doing this isnt going to be worth the trouble, The only people who really need to do this is the people where every split second counts. a basic rule of thumb from what ive read is every 100 pounts is about 1/10 of a second off of your quarter mile, which really isnt that much, You probably wont even notice it.

Removing the a/c? Thats a comfort issue.
Removing the spare? Thats a "just in case" precaution issue.
"Just in case" you do get a flat, what do you plan on doing?
I say, keep the spare and accessories. They really dont weight a ton. You could carry it all in one hand.

do what you want, i took out my ps, ac, cc and i love it. Fully gutted from behind drivers seat. If i get a flat, i got a cell phone and lots of friends that would help me out. Plus i dont have 4 people trying to cram in my car. There is room for one person besides me, deal with it. Its my car.

i read in a tuner mag that you have to have a least 200 pounds out to gain like .1 seconds or somthing like that on the track. so more then likely you wont feel it on the street. And if you yank all that stuff out you are gonna forget how it goes back in when you sell it(if you sell it) Trust me ive been there, and the value will go down. plus the fact that is it a 4 door makes it heavier
