How many people in this sport are this genuine?
Here is a conversation I had with Art regarding a downpipe he sells.
Rather than selling me something that could potentially destroy my motor and making some money that he could use, he said this after advising me against purchasing the downpipe from him:
"Sure any time chris.. To many people trying to make a buck in this sport,
when I just want to help. The downpipes may be pricey, but Im not making
harldly anything. Its just to cover my gas expenses and time. Even then I
always come out negative. Its ok, people are worth it. The only other good
person I trust is Ben from importparts.com

Yeah it is really to bad how people are. Most people just want to rip you off. Art seems like a nice guy, too bad there can't be more like him!!!!

yeah i ordered those -10AN weld fittings from Art today and he
asked for my mailing info info b4 he gave me his...
he also said was going to the post office today..!!!
here i am thinking..'WTF i havent given u the money yet..'

hell i might as well join in.. When I first came to this messageboard, I barely had 30 or so posts, I made a post about how I was thinking of going turbo and wanted to ride in a turbo honda before I went out and spent 3k+ dollars.. Art having never met me and me being a newbie still offered to meet up with me so I could see his car.. Not to mention EVERYTHING he has done for me during my turbo install, oil pan fittings, FIXING MY FUEL PUMP.. list goes on.. just want to say Thanks Again Art!

art and turbocoupe are both great guys, both are currently helping me obtain info on a guy that might possibly have ripped me off for my turbo kit...

Wow guys Im flattered. I didnt know this thread was gonna be about me when I opened it. But we all pass on good things to each other and we, as humans, learn from each other. I wouldnt be here if my parents hadnt had sex. Thanks mom and dad you are the best.

so far ive learned to trust two people......Ben and Art. Ben god me squared away lickity split no problems
and im in NY, Art is in TX, when i was stuck with my turbo install he even called me to help me out, and i was free to call him too, hes a great guy. im sure most of us would do anythingfor him. Art, Ben, you guys got my word and its good as gold

I'm totally in favor of us all setting up a shrine to Art and everything, but can someone clue me in on how this downpipe could destroy his motor? Just curious here... I mean if he has 8.8 JE piston and Eagle rod he should be able to handle any downpipe he damn well pleases.
