Default Very impressed with exhaust wrap!!!

Put exhaust wrap on my manifold and downpipe. Noticable drop on the gauge. Wish I could give you an exact number but even after so spirited driving in 85 degree weather the temperature gauge didn't move.

Definetly worth the money.

Have a dual core radiator showing up on monday. I should be able to do some hard track days and not worry about over heating.

Now will my si brakes hold up to a 30 minute track session???

does the exaust wrap get hot on the side that would not be touching the piping. i need something to keep heat off plastic. this has nothing to do with a car. it is for my r/c and i have been looking for something to keep heat off plastic. sry if u think this is way off topic but i just want to know if it would work. thanks for the help.

Yeah I heard it can cause cracking also. Honestly don't know anyone personaly this has happened to. But I plan to own my own arc welder soon so I could honestly care less.

Also I was thinking OK so letting the heat out protects the downpipe. But this heat is escaping into the rest of my engine bay. So while it may increase the damage to headers and downpipes it should theoreticaly be protecting the other parts. And welding up some cracks isn't such a big deal.

I imagine it would work on a RC car.

my problem is my exhaust is touching my plastic body, and i know if i don't wrap the exhaust with some heat preventing stuff that the side of the plastic body will melt. now do u think it would work?
