Rust?!
I recently bought a 2002 Coupe and the car was originally from Canada. Big mistake. I was inspecting the car today and there are large amounts or rust on the axels, front ends, back ends, driveshaft, etc. I am not really a car guy, and am not sure of the name of the parts, but my brakes and back drums are rusted too. I will post pictures. But, is this bad for the car? Like a huge problem? I think it is and common sense tells me that it is because there is also rust on some of the ball joints. This car has turned out to be a hassle. First this and now all of the brakes need to be replaced and I don't have the money to do so
. I will probably take it to the Honda dealership and see what they can do, or I can do this myslef. I think I can clean it with baking soda and then seal the rust out. Any help? I know, pictures will help a lot. I learned this when I got a flat tire yesterday. I had to take it to a shop because the bolts were on so damn tight. Is anyone willing to host the pictures for me? email me at jordanair45@gmail.com. If it comes down to replacing the brakes, I am just going to have them convert the back brakes to disc brakes. Man, this car is just giving me problems. But hey, I got a good deal.
