turbo-perfomance turbo manifolds???
has anybody tried the turbo-performance.com manifold before? IT looks pretty nice for the price...Dameon(the guy that works there)said that if we can get enough people, he'll try to get as close to wholesale pricing as possible...for 375 bucks retail, it's not too bad. Imagine if we have like 8-10 buyers
They also have a race version(not pictured) which is displayed in the FORWARD MOTION neon...The neon is running their turbo manifold....

they also make prefabricated downpipies and TB side intercooler piping, plus whole kits

Not a dump.. its where the wastegate is attached.. not a good method.. relying on ONE runner's gas impulses to signal the wastegate.. this promotes creep.

i called them today and checked out there site. i asked if their manifolds cracked and this is what they said. it will not crack if its done properly, he went to explain why manifolds crack and such. they even told me that some of their cars, the manifold does not even discolor. so far they seem pretty helpful.
I checked out their site. To be quite honest.....and I dont think I can be any more blunt than this.
I've seen better things drop from between my butt cheeks!

And how do you "make sure it's done properly"?? Isn't that the job of the manifold maker?!?!

i checked that site again and that pic up above is for the h22 motor. on the b series i didnt see and wastegate mounts.
btw, i just wanted to see how they handle customer service. most places just give you an attitude.
and as far as done properly..they said some stuff about keeping the temperatures below 1400. if you want, you can call them yourself and see what they tell you.
oh yeh..the kiwi manifolds are known to crack too. charles madrid told me that when he was running atomic performance.

I'm not too sure, but of course mild steel is gonna crack no matter what....
as for the wastegate outlet, they told me that it will be at the collector....I guess I'll just try it out and see what's going on...
