Pull the CD player, and take the top cover off, and get your cd out... Then, either get that deck serviced or put a new one in...
Thanks for your reply.
How does one pull out the CD Player? Are there any instructions/guides/pointers that you could point me to? The stock player seems to be well grounded in the console.

There should be a little tiny hole you can stick a paper clip inside of it and push it to push out the CD. You will have to unfolded the paper clip first. Most all CD players have this, especially on computers.

Reboot did not work since I had to get the battery replaced last week and therefore "reboot" occured but even after that did not take out the CD for me. Still stuck inside.

Umm, yeah... He said he had a 99 Accord... You gave instructions up to 98...
But I gave wrong info, too.. There are 2 screws on the bottom of the dash bezel, and one behind the clock before the piece will come out....

another trick I've had success with is to use a junk CD (cd-r coaster, etc), stick it into the slot under the stuck CD, and use that to help "pull" the stuck disc out. There are a few headunits this doesn't work for. I think JVC may be one, because some head units have two little "tabs" that block you from sticking a 2nd CD in on accident.
