with only 7000 rpms I'd say go for the 421, you may as well make use of what you have. I have a 4-1 DC on mine and i did notice a difference around 5400 rpms, but then again my top end is **** and I haven't dynoed it since I got that on there.

I would go 4-2-1 if you are daily driver and want some extra midrange boost.

Agreed I had a DS Sports SS 4-2-1 and it did NOT make a world of difference when it all was said and done although it did make the best of the low, mid and high end that the LS motor has.

I guess I'd have tried NOS at some point, but I know I did want to go turbo. The LS motor is just begging for a nice Turbo boost!

The best and biggest performing mod for my LS was the AEM/CAI.

Good luck,

A.

I tell you what I wish I could trade my I/H/E in for a nice GSR tranny, that would have made a hell of a lot more difference

Absolutely, I totally understand.

I am currently having the ATS 4.929FD and Toda Flywheel installed to make my R exceptional in that area.

What kind of compression would you be running with ITR pistons in a B18b?

it depends where u want your power at. 4-2-1 bring your power band to lower rpms while 4-1 pushes it up to your upper rpms. thats why with 4-2-1 you'll feel it in your low end midrange areas and with at 4-1 you'll feel it in you high end. but unfortunnatly you sacrifice one for the other.

NOS is the highest doller per HP gain that you can find. Not to say it is an easy thing and not volatile but, if you want alot of straight line power quickly with minimal doller investment then NOS is the way to go.

And funny enough I am NOT a proponant of NOS. I am however a big fan of N/A.

Thats EXACTLY what I am going to do. Acura "fools" people into making the gsr seem so much quicker because it is geared shorter.

-Sure I can change the sprockets on a motorcycle and make it pull wheelies all day- even a hardly-desirableson.

Exactly, the B18B makes good power...Think about this poeple are out there making 160+ HP off the B18B yet they have to do it under (usually peaking way before) 7000 rpms, yet the B18C does just as well or better but has at least an extra 1000 rpms. Don't let the B18B spread its power out so thin, let it do it just as fast as Geeser and it wont dissapoint ya.

Greddy only makes 4-2-1 for the LS, not sure about GSR. I have the greddy for my LS. Mid range is great and so is top end. No loss of power at low end. Pulls like crazy mid range and doesnt fall of anymore at the top like it did prior to the header install. Power continues to climb to the redline. You LS guys know what i mean with the power seeming to disipear and the engine just continueing to rev up to redline just making noise. Well, thats gone now. Power is great. I recomend the Greddy.
