which turbo is good for the D series?

Default which turbo is good for the D series?

ok before anyone flame me i search the forum and found the information confusing. So i just decided to ask the question. I wanna turbo my d series but i don't know which turbo is the best. I am pretty much a noob with engine and stuff. So any information would be nice. Btw i want the complete turbo kite. After i turbo what else can i do to boost my D. Thanks in advance

It is going to take a lot of research to understand how turbos work and why they work. A great site is http://www.howstuffworks.com , the more you know the less time you'll spend on fixing it .

For the d series there are a couple kits that you can get like the greddy kit or the edelbrock both of which are carb legal. There are a couple kits like the revhard ones etc that usually don't allow for a/c and p/s compatibility. I am going with a greddy kit which has a 16g turbo and can safely handle 12psi.

Research, search and ask questions .

go to turbod16.com, you'll learn everything u need over there and those guys are really helpful. not hating on honda-tech, just those d-series guys know theys stuff.

Honestly, you could get most of that for way under 6500. Oh and if you're running a semi-built motor why risk blowing it on a damn afc hack . Get a p28 chipped and run something like crome or uberdata etc.

u better be making close to 400WHP if your gonna spend that much. you're better off getting a full-race kit
