Help finding a random plug on 2001 accord.
it may not be for anything. Hondas come prewired for their accessories so that may be for something like fog lights or something like that by looking at the picture. It may also be for power mirrors or something else

thats what I'm thinking. look for the other side in the airbox where the blower motor and heater core is.

they are not the hvac controls. The only thing I can think of is the sunlight sensor. I really just need someone with a v6 accord like mine so I can figure it out.

If I am right and I usually am about 50% of the time, this green plug is a dust cover for two other plugs and if I am right I am embarrassed that no one else has helped you with something so simple if I am right and I usually am 50% of the time.
There are actually two plugs here covered by this green dust cover. The two wire plug is the OBD I self test connector that you short the two terminals together with a paper clip in the KOEO mode to make the CEL flash codes for you by blinking the light in a certain series of flashes to give you the DTC so you can diagnose your ECM issues.
The other connector is a three wire (or two wire with three terminal possibility), this is used by a technician to hook up a scanner to actually read in text format what your computer is trying to tell you or just to read the normal perameters of the engine sensors KOEO and KOER. Just hide it back up out of place if I am right and I usually am about 50% of the time.
Did I f'in mention I am never wrong about these things???

It is because someone has been posting my pics somewhere else on the net and I don't know where. I am a bit pissed right now.

JDM still uses the OBD I connector and it is not only used to diagnose the main ECM and I am going off of a blurry picture, is there 5 wires on that plug and what is your answer to my last post, is it what I said or not Gus.
