bad idle, cel, HELP

I have a 2000 civic si. i unplug the battery the car runs fine for about 20 minutes.a cel comes on it is the idle control. The car is really jerky when i give it gas. I bought a new idle air control valve. The car does the same thing the rpms pulse from 1000 to 2000. What else could this be. i need help bad.

sounds like a loose vacuum hooooooooose!

I had this problem just today... New plugs, wires, and reset the CEL. Good to go.

The possibilites to this are endless... check for a vaccum leak first though.
