i have an EF 4door 89 DX

how's the ZC with AT? and how much did it cost you?
it's that 89 light gold/champagne colour
i have no mods yet.. soo it's powerless.. but it only has 130 000 kms on it.. i think that's about 60 000 miles

i'm gonna buy another EF 4door maybe 90-91 EX or LX ( can't live with out pw,pl,pm, and AC )

and doing b16a swap.. engine for 1500 cdn and mounts for 550 cdn and i'll do it myself or have friend do it sooo maybe 2500 complete

i need a colour to paint it too what's a good EF sedan colour?

Question for all: What's the best way to take off the chrome moldings?
I hate those things.

 

hatchimon, have you think just paint them in flat black, sand it a bit and paint over, will look like on my 91 dx, hatch

 

the ones on the base of the window or around the window??

the one at the base can be replaced with a DX model one..

the ones around the window can be pulled off....then get some goo remover and go at it...youll then have black trim...

There have been some minor changes since those pics - my mirrors are now white, as is the plastic feeler between the hood and the bumper feeler, the steering wheel has been replaced with a leather-wrapped Integra wheel and all the rear emblems have been removed except a white 'H' in the middle.

I'm still waiting on wheels - I was going to get Rota Subzero's 16x7 in white, but they were still backordered with no ETA more than a month after I ordered and paid for them, so I told them to ship me the gunmetal ones and I'll get 'em powdercoated if I decide that gunmetal doesn't look that good...

I'll probably post some new pics once the wheels are on...

PS - as far as removing the chrome trim, what about the trim around the windshield & rear window? anyone gotten that done black?

Well, no more "T" as the turbo gone - used to be built d16a6 turboed and intercooled with multiple 12.60 @ 112 timeslips. That motor gone now ...

i've got a baby blue 89 DX just like gtcali

it USED to be ls/vtec'd... but my old setup is dead and i am currently rebuilding it.
heres whats either on the car, or going back into it though.....

here's my general setup:

91 LS block (all new bearings)

81.5mm Endyn pistons (11.5:1)
