Oh my !
That is just as sad as when I saw something similar in person. Unfortunately, in the NYC area you will see cut up ITR's every few months or so.

Living in NYC is a love hate relationship. I love living here, it is relatively safe...arts, culture....etc. like l said in previous posts...But, I hate living here, higher crime, higher costs

For every ITR destroyed, doesnt the value of your current car go up? They will become collectors' items. They make as many engines as needed, but there are only so many type R bodies.
yeah somehow i think the engine isn't the only thing missing, i wonder if you could of bought it than sued, like my browser didn't load the pictures and it only said the engine was missing i want the rest of the car or i'll sue, and seriously wouldn't "scrap" be a more appropriate title than "salvage"?? -rob

Yeah........tell me about it.
I don't know why, but I felt much safer of driving my car outside in NY then NJ.
I left my car for upgrades in my mechanic's shop in NJ, and the mechanic left early and told me to go pick up the car, which is left outside of his shop. One hour later, when I got there, a tow truck is right next to my car. I was like "WTF" and walks toward my car while staring at the driver and at his license plate(The guy pretend he's looking for something under the seat
. Once I got into my car, the tow truck droves away.....[Modified by nEoMuGen, 2:34 AM 2/20/2002]
