Winter beater Opinion
I live in Ohio which is known for some shitty *** winters, and I not too long ago got a EM1. I still have my old car(Taurus) just sitting in my driveway. Should I keep the Taurus for the winter so I dont salt away my beloved Si, or sell the Taurus for ~$1000 and use that for a new suspension setup? Opinions are wanted. Thanks
i say keep the beater too. i guess you could just wash off the car after you drive it when there is salt on the road, but how practicle that is......

I think its clear what to do - keep the beater
Honestly it would be so nice to have a beater because you never know what can happen in Winter. Too many dangerous variables to risk getting your si into an accident. So....keep the beater and garage the si where its safe and warm

Thanks everyone. I have pretty much decided to keep the beater, mainly because I want to lower around 2" overall, so pretty much with that front lip it will turn into a snow plow
. Taurus it is

sell the taurus for 1,000 and buy a 90+ subrau legacy.. buddy of mines live in phili an uses that as a winter car, it has sooooo much traction with the AWD with studded tires in the snow. other than that, his summer car is a eg hatch
