Default Need opinions, B or K series

I'm trying to build an all motor, daily driven 12 sec motor, so that means i'm not even thinking about going nitrous for the extra horses. i'm debating whether i should go B series or K to reach 12's. I have a 99 ex by the way.

I just need some opinions on what you guys would do, i know the advantages of both and i done my research but i just need some opinions. what do you guys think you will do if you had to choose between them.

o and by the way, i'm not lookin into frankensteins yet but if i have to i will, thanks.

if money isn't an issue i'd say go with the Kseries.

If your goal is 12s, i would just go with a stock bore B18 whether LSvtec, gsr or itr. It's been proven over and over again, that this platform can reach that goal. And that's with stock pistons and even ctr cams and tuning.

with cams for the k20a3 coming out, you will be able to have a budget k-series build as the a3 motor is less than half the cost of the k20a2 motor in most cases and will still outperform a b18.

But a Nice k20a3 with a k24 block would do wonders with the proper headers n tuner.
