Default Can someone verify that this is a real type r cluster!!!

I bought this item from another guy...I had it installed in my car and it is compatible with OB1..lights up all amber and everything..except that the seat belt light is switch with the door light.....but I am recently trying to sell the cluster and I keep getting all these responses that it is a fake one...I remember that there was a certain year that the type r models switched to the carbon trims... so I think that the type r cluster that I have is probably from a 97 model where they have not switch yet..please help me verify this guys..getting a bit annoyed and I want to get this settle so I know if I intially got rip off...thx

My water temp and gas gauge looks like Robb's on my old ITR.

I don't remember ever seeing that style water temp/gas gauge (the tick marks... so many) on an ITR cluster. But the tach and speed0 look gr00d.

EDIT: ITR needles as well.

The differences can be seen in the actual numbers on the speedo and lettering on the water/gas gauges....ITR clusters have "bolder" fonts, while lesser Integras have thinner fonts.

it is. You can immediately tell by how bold the "fonts" are on the tach compared to how everything else looks.....

for example
his:

and here's a jdm one for reference ( since the only diff between USDM and JDM was kmh and the yellow needles )

*edit* pardon that last pic.....i used it a while back for a write up here.....

All ITRs had a carbon fiber surround on the cluster also.

And that should have been a give-away!
Time to lock this one as well (as being non-ITR related)?

ITR Tachometer with GSR/LS/RS/GS everything else as stated above.

Just compare the font used for the numbers between the Tacometer and the Speedometer. The "ITR" Font is always bolder. Also, the gas indicator is indicated much differently in the ITR, with "lines/dashes" instead of "dots".

How people actually have the time to put a GSR mph with a ITR rpm guage....I don't know, you can call it the DC-Universal cluster!
