Default !help please! cd player install - searched - need advice

Well , im putting a cd player in my 95 integra , Ive installed about 5 cd players over the years and I wasnt expecting this big of a pain in the ***. I'am not sure if i ruined it, i accidentaly touched a 12v to the "frame" of the cd player, and it sparked and smoked a little bit?? The fuse wasnt blown, and i checked every fuse in the car. Can someone please help me out?

also, can someone varify my wiring:
wht/blu - constant (what do i hook this to?) into a fuse? ...

http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/HA-Wiring.pdf this should help. The white blue is the oem constant power, it is fused in the engine bay fuse box, should be a 7.5A fuse, however, if the HU you have is a "high" power HU and you are going to use it to power the speakers, I would suggest that you run a fused 12ga or 10ga power wire from the batt. pos. (+) to behind the HU and connect the HUs yellow wire to it, [cap off the white/blue so it can't short out] also run a 12ga or 10ga ground from the chassis of the HU to a good ground behind HU. 94
