Those type of floor supports are a pressed part. They use a huge hydralic press to make that shape out of a piece of sheet steel. Your most likely not going to be able to duplicate those very easily.

you have a unibody. what are you trying to do; put a ford 9" in your honda? i'm redoing eveything on my datsun 510, which is a unibody, it's going to be completely tubed. new floors, transmission tunnel, firewall, rear four link subframe and a new front subframe. is your floor board rotted out?

Those pieces you can make with a sheet metal brake and 18g steel. that hat channel really only needs to go to either side of the trans tunnel, if you put some beads in the floor (The more beads in the floor, the stronger it'll be). The trans tunnel should have enough shape in it that it's strong enough without a hat channel under it.

BTW, got any pics of your plymouth? what drivetrain are you using? i worked on a 47 for a while in my street rod class.

i bought the car with just the bare chassis and frame so im trying to get it running. it actually still has the stock flat head 6 on it but im missing the head, but im not really planning on keeping that motor. its just a hassle trying to find little parts that i need like hood and trunk latches.. etc...

here are some pics

We build all our own floors on the trucks that we put on airbags/body drop. Just like the guy said, just buy a bender and bend your driveline tunnel then sheetmetal over it. Not too difficult.

Yager-
