ok this may sounds dumb but im wondering if its normal when u remove the head to have some of the valves popping outa little. i set the **** to tdc and some of the valves are seated, but are sticking out. i have 4 heads sitting around and they are all like that? i assumed that at tdc they should all be shut or something. if im putting the head back on shoudl i just leave them the way they are, or do i need tod o anything special to seat them.

 

well you could put the head at tdc for number 1,2,3,4 pistons. They can all be at tdc at one time. Thats why some valves are sticking out
