Default 89 crx rear bumper brackets

i searched all over and didnt find what i needed yet. i was wondering if any of you have removed the heavy rear bumper support and replaced it with something lighter such as zipties or a custom bracket. I need ideas becuase i have zip ties holding mine for now, it stays on the car fine but doesnt follow the body lines good. If you have any ideas or pics of something similar please help me out thanks

I wouldn't use zip ties. I'll probably end up cutting mine up and only keeping the essential parts. You could always fab up your own which I've though about doing.

I don't know of any after market ones though.

5 lbs? I dont think so, not at least 90-91 supports, 88-89 are lighter, but I'm pretty sure its still more than 5 lbs.
