PoorMan's Type R ?
what does any of that have to do with poorman itr setup?
people say that the b16 head flows better but i dont think that there is any truth to that...i really dont know much about flow specs so i couldnt tell u...however the gsr head yields higher compression than the b16 head and u would probably want that if ur all motor...if i were u i would just get a good p'n'p for the gsr head.....

Stock for stock the b16 may flow better, but the higher combustion chamber roof and bigger quench pads make it a better canidate for building an na head.

You'll be giving up some compression with the B16 head.

hey i been looking around for 20 mins now and everyone is just asking what hp and if its good or not. im asking is it a bolt on? or do u need anything else. b/c i was going to do a crvtec but then i saw the gas price $3.00. so i have a b16 obd 1 head and looking for a GSR or B16 bottom. so is it a direct bolt on?

ahah really. but dam i dont have the patients for it ahah so i guess i'll just take it to a machine shop so they can put it all together with some nice JDM pistons.

u still need to run an oil line from the block to the head
as well as get the dowel pins matched up...
some will say hat u should change the rod bolts...but u will be fine with the stock ones on a mild build

You have a good starting setup already. Your just gambling swaping the heads. Every head will flow diffrent, so saying a B16 head outflows a GSR bias.
