My brother needs to install a new top tranny mount on his DA9 because he current one is cracked.

How would I go about doing this? This is my thinking..

Jack the car up, get it on jack stands and then put the jack under the tranny to support it and then remove the old mount and install the new one. Is this the correct way to do it?

 

We also noticed that the lower tranny mount was busted as well. How hard are these mounts to replace?

How would we replace the lower mount?

 

the front mount is cake, but the side mount you need to lowere the engine because that mount is in 2 peices and in order to get the top part of the mount off the bracket you need to lower the motor enough to slide the mount over the bolt stud, basically remove the bolt from the rear mount remve the front mount and lower the engine down and remove the mount/install. jack the engine back up and instal the rest of the mounts have fun. to me thats the hardest mount
