Skunk2 Stage 2 Intake Cam Busted!! What Now? Warranty?
Skunk2 Stage 2 intake cam busted the other day. I was reading on Skunk2's site about warranty ****, and it reads as if they don't warranty anything. My friends coil on his coilover broke from skunk. He got his **** replaced, and another one of my friends stage 2 skunk2 cam busted, and he got it warrantied. What should be said to skunk2? I'm not the greatest..... talker with things like this. Any tips or suggestions? I don't have any money to buy another set, need to get these warrantied, or are there any reps on here that can help me out?
What springs and retainers did you have? Where did you have the cams installed at degree wise? What was te valve to valve Cl. what was the valve to piston cl.
why dont u just call them and tell them the situation and see what they say....it never hurts to ask....if ur homies got their **** replaced why wouldnt u? more than likely it was installation error...thats the #1 reason why cams break...

What is the biggest reason this happens? is it overtightening the cam gear bolt?

where exactly did the cam break at?
the biggest reason i would think is tightening the cam caps in the wrong sequence....

And what else happens is ,the intake valve hits the exhaust valve and bends them over and the piston comes up and smashes em over .And when the cam comes back around .It can't push the valve down so it breaks the cam.Did the piston hit the valves?
