motor mounts...
1 of my mounts is gone.. planning on buying new ones. can anyone suggest good mounts? i was also thinking about just getting inserts...any difference in the two?
Place Racing makes urethane motor mounts and brackets for a pretty good price. I read a build up where they used them in a 91 integra and they claimed that they worked well for them. Go to hotrod.com and type in, "project hell freezes over" in the search box and it will come up with 2 hits on that project car. It was a cool buildup and helped influenced me to buy a 2nd gen. integra..look it up, it goes into detail about the mounts.

so i'm just going to buy the inserts, how would i go about taking the mounts off? could i just jack up the side where i'm taking it off at or would i have to take the whole thing off at once?
I actually ordered the energy suspension ones 1st but sent them back when I discovered the prothane the E. S. setup doesn't come with the top mount just 2 inserts for the underneath the prothane has the same 2 inserts and the top mount also
there are a couple excellent threads on motor mounts in the integra forum if you use the search feature and click archives...they have answered each of your questions plus questions I see you having shortly
the front two lower torque mounts are fairly simple to install as well as the upper side mounts. You'll just need a jack for the car, and a jack with a block of wood for the motor to lift and lower it slightly as you remove the mounts.
The rear mount is a bitch, and I have not removed it successfully

not as rough as jimfab or hasport motor mounts...you'll get use to it after the first couple days.
