I have a intake mani from a 97 ex with the IPT fuel rail and obd1 injectors, i'm guessing. Is there a visual way to tell between obd0 and obd1. Also, will a obd0 fuel rail and injectors work with this intake for the mpfi swap on a dx?

If you have a manifold from a 1997 EX then you have a D16Y8 manifold and that comes with OBD-2 injectors. The only fuel rail that works on that manifold is the Y8 and the Y7 if I am not mistaken. It does not matter the OBD level of the injectors that are going into the fuel rail as long as the wiring to the ecu is correct for said injectors. Yes you can use this manifold for an MPFI swap, it just will change a few steps (minor).

 

What kinda different steps are you refering to?

 

In no particular order....
Relocate and extend IAT wiring
Reroute PCV system
Trim Brake Booster Vaccum Line
Extend Fuel Return Line to FPR
Extend MAP wiring (If using TB w/MAP)

 

Ok i did some searching and i was completely off it is a intake manifold from a 96 dx civic. Does this affect the over-all outcome? Anyone
