Help me spot 98-01 Accord at the junkyard
Hi all,
I need to pick up an ECU connector from a 98-01 Accord at a junkyard
1) How can I tell the 98-01 apart from the others in the same generation?
2) Where is the ECU mounted?
TIA

Are talking about a sedan 98-01? I'm not really familar with sedans but I'm guessing the number of lines (?) is different in the grille.

98 accord sedan ^one line in grille

02 accord sedan ^two lines in grille
It maybe important to know which engine (v6 or I4) the ECU needs to come out. For the location of it, I'm not sure but I heard its a pain to reach.

That's the beauty of these cars . . . nobody can tell how new or old your car is as long as it looks good.
Take a picture of the front, back and dash of your car with you.
