Well I noticed that my steelie had some brake fluid on the inside of it on the passenger side about 2 nights ago, but I cant find a leak. Now my brakes pulsate like a bitch when I barely hit them and they squeal to. Only when I hit them alittle bit though, if I push 3/4 to all the way they dont pulsate. It also only happens above 50mph (the pulsating). The rotors and pads are autozone brakes with only 12k or so on them. I think the hose is leaking but it doesnt appear to be at all?

 

Sounds to me like you have a warped rotor.

 

Yea me to just the leaky thing is what threw me off.

Anyways, yeah it sounds like the rotors, but I'm not sure about why it would be leaking like that. Oh well, just keep an eye out again to see if it leaks anymore.

 

A warped rotor would cause a pulsation at all braking speeds, and should cause a pulsation no matter how hard you depress the pedal.

Check your brake lines and calipers. My guess is that the fluid is coming from the caliper based on where it was found but it is very hard to tell without being able to see it in person. The best way to find a fluid leak of this type is to look for clean spots on your brake components. What I mean by this is anywhere oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid has touched it will be cleaner than the rest of the car because of the detergents is these fluids.

If you happen to find brake fluid on the rotor then you definately have fluid on the pad. If you have fluid on the pad and it is an organic pad you might as well kiss the pad goodbye.

 

I have accidentally hit the brakes when there was nothing in front of the piston and it popped out(last time I did brakes) So I took some pressure out of the system then pushed the piston back into its slot. This is wierd I will take it apart tommorow to see whats up. I ordered new brembo blanks and some pbr/axxis pads.

 

When you did that you may have damaged the seal around the outside of the piston, that may be what is causing it to leak.

It is possible. But my guess would be more along the lines of a very small rip. Not one so large that the caliper piston would be able to come out.
