URGENT!! b18b motor mount question
hey fellas, i don't often post in this forum but i need you help QUICK!! i have done a quick search but couldn't find much.
i have a 1999 b18b in my 93 civic si hatch. last night i broke one of my motor mounts while i was driving (i know, i was very shocked, but please don't ask the story yet, i need help first). the passenger side tranny mount broke right off.
now i'm been gettin mixed responses, my questions are:
1) MAIN QUESTION!! do i need just 3 mounts or 4??? currently i only have 3 mounts on the car, but i looked at my friends STOCK civic hatch and it has a fork shaped mount on the front of the tranny near the A/C which i don't have.
2) i wsa looking at Hasport mounts and then i heard about Avid mounts, but the pics i find on the net don't match eachother...in some pics the avids look good like the hasport, in others they look weak as **** with gay welds and orange bushings. any advice on this.
thanks so much in advance guys, i know someone like me should know this and should be able to find it by searching, but the stress, heartache, and just pure astonishement is not allowing me to think clearly.

Personally I prefer to use Mugen mounts.....HAsport has been proven over time to provide a wonderful product though.
As for teh nuber of mounts...I only have 3, and I've NEVER used all 4. Neither does anyone that I chilled wtih back home. I'd advise just getting stronger mounts...if it was a set of factory mounts that you cobbled together, they I am not suprised that they broke. OE Honda mounts = weaksauce.

alright thanks guys, i think i got the answers i needed thanks to DoctorVtec who pm'ed me..thanks so much dude.
basicaly most poeple only have 3 like me, you can get the forth IF you want...but now i know that is not the reason i broke one...i guess i just have too much torque
and about the mounts, i will be looking at prices between hasport and avid, they are both good....mugen is a little out of my price range
