My buddy just had a tegR motor /w lsd installed in his 99' teg, it has greddy exhaust and aem hybrid cia.

THE QUESTION- "ABOUT" what kind of 1/4 mile times is he probably looking for, b/c when we went to the track his time wasnt that great .

 

To many variables to say. What tranny did he use? Any other mods. Are the internals of the motor stock? But as a rough guess most here that actually run at the drag strip hit 14.7 on average. Some do better. FWIW I ran 14.5 @~97 MPH stock.

 

ok so something isnt right if he was consistantly running 15.9 with a best of 15.8, the installer got a phone call and the car back and he is gonna give it more fuel. thanx for the reply

 

another quick? he was shifting at 8k where is ur best shiftpoint?

 

personally I launch at 5-6k feather it out, consistantly get 2.2-2.3 (ie sucky) 60' I shift at the point before it hits the rev limiter and I'm off.

Shift at redline (8400 RPM on the B18C5).
