please I'd love to see pics, but everyone thinks drifting is more important.

Since no one is posting... does anyone want to pay my way to the events so I can take pics and post them keeping the drag community happy!!

I feel you man, I keep checking the sites (modified, urban racer, tunerzine, etc) and it seems like 90% of what's there is drifting and hot import nights.

 

No one has coverage... I'm going to cry soon!!!! Better yet If I could I'd head downtown right now and go knocking on Modified's door!!! Too bad they have gone home for the day, and I work tomorrow.

Anyone else notice that the NHRA is getting coverage but the NDRA coverage is going down over the past couple of events? Based on this post, I am thinking that I am not the only one.

Or go see Frank @ PAS....I'm sure they won't be using the pictures from St. Louis for at least 4 months!!!!

 

Well as far as Tunerzine is concerned, we are a small group of people with close to nothing on travel expense budgets. All our guys do it out of there own pocket, and we all know travel expenses are expensive.

Urban Racer sponsors the NHRA Sport FWD class so you might not see much coverage.

Anyone want to up Tunerzine's budget to send more of us out to the events?

 

one of the bigger problems from what i've heard is that Nopi / NDRA actually has a guy who shoots at the events, and the pics come out fairly good. So a lot of the publications use the NDRA guy because it's cheaper / easier than sending an editor out.

but that means that you have to wait for the mags to come out, and there isn't much coverage on the sites.

 

I was wondering about this myself. There are a couple of threads in the Appearance/Cosmetic, but I want to see the drag cars!!!

I beg to differ. Some of them look like they've been taken with a camera phone. When Ryan B shoots for them they come out great! NDRA needs to have Tunerzine kinda like how Urban Racer and NHRA do it. For the little budget tunerzine has you have to admit its a great website. Its way better than urban racer IMO.

 

I just checked Modified.com and they have thier coverage up.

Funny thing is I can't see any pics on modified.com something about page not found, it's a bad link. Anyone else having the same problem?
