what year did GSR trannys start having VIN tags and not stickers?

what year did GSR trannys start having VIN tags and not stickers?

just wondering bc lookin to buy a tranny and want to verify the year. i had a 95 gsr tranny and it had a sticker... did 96+ have rivetted on vin tags?

i think when honda went to obd2 they switch to the tags

i have a tag on my 92 gisser. i had a tag actually on both 92 gsr's i owned.

huh?....on the bottom of the engine and the front of the tranny? because i have a sticker on my tranny
