Quick Question about ECU codes...
Where is the red flashing light located on a EG?
I've always worked on EFs and all I needed to do was to lift up the carpet and there it was... help!
and yes, I searched and I looked at the ECU, even removed it but no red flashing light...

On the 88-91 Civics there is a flashing red light on the ECU and if you have a problem it will flash a number of times = ECU code / but I don't know if the EGs use the same system. All I need to know is how do you check the ECU codes on a EG. Thanks.
OBD0 cars have there CEL on the ecu and not in the dash.
92 + have it in the dash and you need to jump it to read the codes. Look here:
