This is footage from a test back in 1999 I believe for the magazine "Fast Bike" (British). It's between a 916, VTR1000 (Superhawk) and a TL1000R. They are in France I believe on their way to the French GP race. One of the riders is Shane "Shakey" Byrne who is a current MotoGP racer. The commentary from the riders is kinda funny. There are a few wrecks, and the one at the end is a bit hard to watch because you hear the guy screaming. Their riding is not condoned by me in any way shape or form . Other than that it's pretty damn crazy, 28 minutes long, enjoy

I watched this a few weeks ago, had no idea it was the riders it was, makes it a little more interesting They definitely pulled some crazy stuff.

INSANE video... i loved the whole thing.. those guys are nuts, but amazing riders... to do that on a track is nuts, but to do it on the street with other, unpredictable things is MORE nuts.....

thats why bikes are frowned upon.... sweet vid though none-the-less

I seriously doubt that luke. while he is most certainly faster than I or you on the tack, I have been piloting a motorcycle for as many years as he has been alive. this includes superbike level racing(local calif series), against rider like eddie lawson, wayne rainey, and the list from era goes on. the riding in that video is irresponsible and novice at best... drifting into on coming lanes, using more than one lane to negotiate a corner, is pure amateur and for those of you that see this as cool or really fast are showing your lack of experience. to bad riding

Well he has more talent than I have in his left foot alone. As for your claims of greatness club level of racing is just that, no matter how many big names you throw in. I am not saying that the video is the best example of his riding just that he is/was/has been/will continue to be more talented than you. I cant beleive that you would even think that any MotoGP rider would be fair game for you to critisize. Now if you were Wayne Rainey or Eddie Lawson then you may have a point. As it was you were a racer and I respect that, but dont be silly about it.
