Ran across this pic on glocktalk. The poster owns the yellow Boxter (supercharged?). I think this was taken at Sebring - that R belong to anyone on here?

Look at the people around the boxster; guy in the front, guys in the back... all seem to be looking for the engine and they can't find it.

Heh! From what the guy was saying, he went off backwards, and they had to clean out a bunch of **** back there.

Hrm-ness. Maybe I shouldn't mention that fact on the other board

That's me!

Just kidding. That's my friend Adam from Tampa, FL. My R is yellow too but it wasn't racing that day. We're having a lot of sessions lately here in Sebring but, I cannot afford to go to all of them

LOL he was a newbie on the track.. you should have heard the questions he was asking.. the ones I recall were something to the effect of "If we flash our brights, can we pass without waiting for a point by signal?" and "Instead of pointing someone by, can we just use the blinkers to tell them where to go?"

Ok, now keep in mind this was after Mr Chin clearly stated "Passes are only allowed in the passing zones and only after receiving a proper point-by signal which is (visually demonstrated). There are NO other times where passing will be permitted and never without a proper signal."

Heh. What a tool. Ah well, I'm not going to start **** with the guy. I believe he owns many, many firearms, any of which could be used to shoot my ***.

So far, he's said nothing but nice things about Type R's in general. Thread is getting pretty interesting

Oh, he's a nice guy. Ate dinner with him in fact (well was at his table for the dinner organized by Chin). He was actually uneducated about ITRs at the time and thought they were basically GSRs.. with a little more HP.. he was straightened out without too much violence.

Hey Dave, Hopefully we will meet at Sebring on April and May. I need to send some forms to Chin Motorsports for those sessions ( if money and my wife allows je je) I know we are going to have a heck of a time. All you guys are pretty cool to hang around with

Eric - Who needs a lot of practice...

Mike: Try to get Cliff or Billy as an instructor (email weishin and ask). Both know how to drive FWD cars fast and can teach you a LOT.

I'm not sure if I'll have a car prepped or not by then so I might just be there hanging out..
