i had them on my car, but the rear shocks and springs were way to tall. With the coilover lowered all the way down, i still had about a 2.5" gap in the rear. I am sending them back to strange for them to modify it. Too bad, because im going to fontana this weekend with stock shocks and ground controls..

it requires u use a 10 or 12 spring but cany you use like 7 and just raise it up should be okay correct me if i am wrong

Im not sure if that would work.. With the spring as low as it would go, it was the most horrible ride i have ever had. it was worse than stock blown shocks with cut springs. Im pretty sure the whole body needs to be shortened, but by the time anyone buys these, im sure the problem will be fixed.
edit: I had the 12" spring, but the problem was not the length of the spring. The problem is that the shock is all the way compressed, but the car still had a 2.5" gap from the wheel to the fender.

That's odd. I compared mine to the stock shocks and the strange shocks f/r were about 3-4 inches shorter than the stock shock.
I haven't ran them yet, waiting to put the motor back in to test them out.

I'm almost positive i got an older set. I recieved mine over a year ago.. so im pretty sure that the new ones are revised.
ya well i dont think thats even close to the omni setup since ppl have gotten combos with other stuff for i think what 800 or even less. ur pricing comes close to 1100 or more. not to close to omnis. but strange has some good products as far as axles and what not for domestics so im sure these are along the same line as far as quailty.
GSC runs the Strange and this is what me and tony had talked about running the other day. Its pricey but probably worth it..

I was thinking about using these a year ago.
It would probably be most beneficial to use the fronts since they are rebound adjustable if your looking to replace your current drag spring setup.....in my eyes anyways.
