Default bar ends with helmet locks?

I saw these in a magazine somewhere,

has anyone seen these or no where to buy them at?

I don't have a helmet lock and need new bar ends so these sound like the ticket.

If you've got a trunk, you can make a helmet lock w/some nuts and bolts and maybe a piece of metal L-bracket.

Interesting...

My only concern would be the lock itself. Those style keys/locks have been known to be pickable with a bic pen.

On a side note what happened to the helmet lock on your left rear peg?

And about the whole trunk thing, you could kill two birds with one stone. Get one of those md wright trunk kits with the electronic seat release. You could then create your own mount on the subframe that way you will have a trunk and a place to lock your helmet.

Don't get the tail locker. I had one on my f3 before putting the 97/98 tailsection on it. It is made of a cheaper more brittle plastic and it broke easily. I got it for 10 bucks brand new from a motorcycle shop in the closeout/sale bin so I didnt care. They normally cost 150......
