Default Post up your suspension setup...

Post up your suspension setup and ride height....

I've been having a really hard time deciding what kinda suspension to get, and i know that if you go cheap you can blow your struts and mess up your car

Also let me know how ur car handles, and how the ride quality is, and whether your setup has blown on u, etc

skunk2 adjustible spings with tokico illuminas on my DC. set 4 in front 5 in rear and it handles pretty good. My friend has the same set up on his DA and it seems like his handles better than mine. must be his sway bar

Tockico Illumina full coilover set, with stiffeness set to 5 all around. Coilovers are abit more expensive, but you can set the height you want yourself! It's amazing for that. Also have a TypeR rear sway bar and a front trut bar and the car handles like a little gokart, barelly has any body roll. Now if I could only get rid of my winter tires....

Koni Yellows with Ground Control Coilovers. The ride is a bit stiff, but the handling is great. Everyone is going to have a different tolerance with the ride quality. Try to find some local people with different setups and ask if you can take a ride with them.

KYB AGX
Ground Control Coilovers
ITR Rear sway bar
Energy Suspension Hyper Flex bushing kit
SPC Camber kit. I don't recommend the anchor bolt method of adjusting camber go with something that replaces the whole front upper control arms I think you'll be better off.
lowered around 2.5"

Tockico with eibach prokit springs, front and rear strut bars and sway bars
the prokit springs are progressive rate so they are nice for daily driving, but tight when i go 130 mph

i have had h&r race springs, they were very nice and tight, 2.5 drop! but not for daily driving

Tein SS with the rear Comptech sway bar and tie bar. Handles wonderfully even at high speed manuevers (speeds such as 120mph+). By manuevers I mean swerving to miss a huge chunk of tire.

The ride is obviously stiff, but it's nothing bad....I go on long trips (9+hours) and it's not bad for those distances. Nothing has blown.

As for ride height, I think last time I adjusted it the top of the tire was 2 1/4" or 2 3/4" from the fender.

H&R Race anywhere from probably a 2-2.5 inch drop, still not low enough with gr2's. Rode good till I put my strut bars and chasis bars on. Rides alot stiffer now.

koni yellows (firmness set in the middle), ground control coilovers, skunk2 upper arm/camber kit. i love my setup, it handles great! the ride is fine with me, but i'm also used to having lowered cars or cars with sport suspension, so i dunno. people that have rode in my car with me though say it rides nice.

KYB AGX shocks - daily driving F3/R2 - track F4/R4
Eibach Pro Kit
Type R 22mm Rear Sway Bar

I like the set-up and it's a big improvement over stock, but no matter what you get, you get used to it after a while. You may try posting in the AutoX forum and see what responses you get. Also, you need to decide how much of a drop you want when choosing your springs. For example, Eibach Sportlines are about a 2.5" drop while the ProKit is about 1.5" - 1.75"

Carlos11 - no offense, but I doubt your car or any other FWD car handles like a gokart...
