Stock motor(except DIY Icebox w/ stock filter), stock exhaust manifold, 2.25" test pipe, 2.5" custom mandrel bent B pipe, and a Mugen twin loop muffler? I have easy and relatively cheap access to all the parts and labor.

Gotta take it to the Dyno

 

I guess it wouldn't hurt. The Mugen rear section and the 2.5" b-pipe will come in handy down the road if you ever replace the test pipe and exhaust manifold with something larger, but I wouldn't bother if you're going to stop there (unless "relatively cheap" means "really cheap.")

 

I can tell you now that the only thing that will make the power difference is the test pipe - count on 2-4 whp difference with your stock header.
