I was checking on modacar.com and it says type r only. Is that only because of the length? I mean will the headers bolt up to a 96 GSR block.

Any information on these headers or a better place to buy them please post a link.

You need a custom cat to run this on any teg other than a JDM R. It is a different length and has a 2.5" collector size.

However it will match up to any B-series head...

 

thanks for the reply. i was planning on running a cat/exhaust setup from smsp i believe it is. 2.5 all the way through.

 

I hope you have a new catback exhaust to mate to your new converter... stock piping will make your entire effort a waste, and youll need like a 2.5"->2" cat.

I got mine on ebay for like 300, new. I will be selling mine as soon as I finish welding/porting out my real jdm version. I like the original better because this dc version hangs way lower, and cannot bolt on a skidplate, and looks/is illegal compared to a heat shielded OEM version.

I say stick to the real thing, Ive already kinda railed the bottom of this DC one.
