hey guys, havent posted here in a minute... if some of you may remember, i had an 00 turbo milano red si which i sold, and a 91 civic hatch with a jdm b16a1 swap, etc.... currently have a lex gs400 and still rockin the hatch as well.. heres the thing, my hatch isnt in the best shape right now...i recently came across a 91 civic si hatchback, all black, MINT inside and out, no rust, 86000 original miles, the guys willing to take $2k for it. my idea was get this hatch, swap the motors out between mine and the new one, and turn around and sell my hatch with the si motor with 86k in it for like $1500...my old hatch has the full wings west kit, all si interior, invidia exhaust, aem intake, bla bla blah, which id leave all on the car (cept maybe the exhaust id transfer over with the b16 to the nicer hatch. i think i would almost break even after i sell the older hatch with the si transplanted into it and come out on top with a mint condition si with my b16 to keep.... do you guys think i should bother, is it worth it? the si im looking at buying is mint, i mean not a tear in the interior or spot of rust anywhere outside, motor running 100%. your feedback and opinions as always are appreciated.

Regardless of the plans, I dont think you can go wrong with a mint black civic si for 2k. As long as you got the $$ partner I say go for it. Every day that goes by clean EFs get more rare.

 

2 grand for a prestine SI? I'd take it.

 

yes definintely do it~!!!!! youd ont find mint Si Hatches for 2g's with 87k origional miles!!!!! Definitely!......i mean serouisly.. did you have to think twice about it ^_- only pain is pulling the engine blah blah blah.. which takes time

And if you put the D16a6 in your other hatch.. you can definitely sell it for $1500... the D16a6 is a nice strong little Single Cam ^_^
