Default which axxis brake pads?

I dont know if I should purchase the axxis metal masters or the ultimates for my integra. The car is used as a daily driver and I heard that the ultimates are more suited for the track or auto-X and that the metal masters are a good pad for the street.

I searched around but could not find a definite answer. What do you guys recommend? Thanks.

yep you are correct. i run the ultimates, and they need to be warmed up a little for proper braking. if i were you, i would go with the metal master...

I just finished my first set of Ultimate, the initial bite is ungodly, when my friend and I carpool on I5 I have to warn him specifically, and he still got nosedive.

But the problem is it dust like crazy and like other said, works better warm but still drivable, plus it eat rotor moderately.

Now I am on Hawk HPS but I miss my Ultimate, no more dust but was already spoiled by the stopping power.

I have brembo blanks and metal masters all around and they stop on a dime. Trust me, I have tried more then once. I agree thogh, there is a ton of dust from either one. My LS Mesh wheels are red after about a week or two of not washing them.

Akebono Ceramics..... I have ultimates now and I HATE the brake dust! They are also ruining my nice stop-tech rotors I will switch them out soon. I bought into the hype.

yeah with the ultimates you make a sacrifice for the large amount of brake dust. i did not have them wear into my rotor though as bad as you were saying bigD...

yeah they are pretty much the same price!!! it really comes down to how much dust you would like to deal with.
